Securing communication by way of SSL encryption

Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk uses safe encryption technologies to protect you as a visitor to our website. When you provide it through the Booking.com booking module:

• E-mail address
• Phone number
• Guest names
• Other personal details you provide when making the reservation

We process this personal data in order to place the booking in your personal name and to be able to e-mail or call you in order to carry out our services.

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors younger than 16, except when express permission was obtained from the parents or guardian. Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk cannot check whether a visitor is over the age of 16, and, therefore, recommends that parents be actively involved in their child's online activities. Only then can we, together, prevent the collection of personal data relating to minors without parental consent. Please contact us at info@holidayshortstay.nl if you feel that we have collected personal information relating to a minor without parental consent. We will delete this information immediately.

Sharing with others

Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk will not sell your personal information to third parties and will only provide this personal information when required for proper execution of the agreement with you or when required by law. We conclude a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with the companies that process your personal data on our behalf, to ensure that your data is treated with the same level of protection and confidentiality. Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk is still considered the Controller.

Inspecting, adjusting or deleting information

You have the right to inspect your personal information and to ask us to correct and/or delete it. Please send your request to info@holidayshortstay.nl if you have questions concerning Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk's processing of personal data. Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk wants to make sure that you were indeed the one who submitted the request to inspect. Therefore, we kindly request that you include a copy of your identity document when you ask us to inspect, correct and/or delete personal data. To protect your privacy, Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk asks you to black out your ID photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the bar with numbers at the bottom of the ID/passport), your passport/ID number and your citizen service number (BSN) on the copy that you send to us. Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk will respond to your request as soon as possible, but will, in any event, respond within four weeks.

Right of complaint

Holiday & Short Stay Katwijk will gladly help you to rectify the problem, in mutual consultation, if you have complaints regarding the manner in which (personal) data is processed. Direct your complaint to info@holidayshortstay.nl.
